The four-flap carton box forming station consists of an industrial robot that picks up cartons from four feeders and an automatically adjustable cartoner, delivering boxes of four different dimensions to the line. The carton folding robot picks up cartons from the four feeders and then applies tape to the bottom of the carton. The pre-folded cartons are then transported to a designated location. The cartoner can be adjusted at any time to accommodate different carton sizes. The feeder holds approximately 160 cartons with a thickness of 2 mm and is equipped with a low carton level indicator. The station is fully safe thanks to sensors in the feeders, fencing, and an access gate with an electro-lock.
