Palletization of cartons and envelopes using an industrial robot

Industrial robotic palletizing of cartons and envelopes is a device for automatic storage of products on Euro-pallets. It is a solution for companies that want to increase efficiency and ensure the highest standards of quality and safety. The machine uses a Kawasaki CP-180L robot with gripper, which works with conveyors, a sealing machine, pallet storage and a wrapping machine for filming.

The palletizing process begins with the delivery of a Euro pallet from the pallet magazine to the palletizing station using roller conveyors. Then the product, such as a cardboard box or a package of envelopes, is transported to a robot, which takes it from the conveyor. Depending on the parameters, the robot applies a cardboard divider to the selected layers. Once the layout is complete, the pallet is transported to the pick-up area, where the operator can manually pick up the finished pallet using a forklift. Thanks to an HMI panel, the operator can monitor the entire process, which takes place in several stages: transport, product picking, layering and transport of the finished pallet to the pick-up zone.
