From Concept to Implementation
An increasing number of companies are adopting Industry 4.0 solutions, recognizing the benefits these solutions offer. This is evident from the IFR report on the sales of robots installed in factories worldwide in 2021. After a challenging year for the industry in 2021, robot sales are gaining momentum similar to pre-COVID-19 pandemic levels. The industry is developing at a faster pace compared to previous years. For over 10 years, we have been developing projects that enable the creation of effective and efficient solutions in the production sector, meeting the expectations of our partners. We plan actual production layouts through simulations, integrating them with existing systems. An aspect influencing production functionality is our use of virtual production processes, which accelerates design work and the implementation of future tasks set by investors. Creating a virtual version of a production machine allows us to eliminate some technological errors at no additional cost and facilitates conceptual assumptions for the team working on the presented issue. Additionally, by creating a Digital Twin, we comprehensively visualize the production process. This allows us to create, test, and evaluate products and solutions without incurring additional costs.

Modern production – process automation
One of the most popular areas for automation is palletizing stations. In today’s fiercely competitive environment, maintaining quality and modernity is a fundamental obligation for every company. Implementing innovative solutions and technologies is part of business development. This is well understood by FAKRO, one of the most dynamically growing companies in Poland, with whom we had the pleasure of collaborating.
The project we completed for FAKRO involved robotic palletizing of stairs using the Kawasaki CP machine. The CP series consists of very fast robots used in palletizing processes. They can be programmed to work with other machines and systems, significantly impacting cost and time savings. This allows us to create stacks of pallets and arrange finished products in various sizes and sequences, making them easy to transport.
Why Automate Quality Control Processes?
Modern technology enables the automation of quality control processes without the need to stop production lines. This allows for the analysis and elimination of defects and imperfections in products that may arise from manual processes. By automating, we can quickly identify errors such as distortions, color issues, gaps, cracks, graphic elements, assembly correctness, and many others.
The following video showcases an automated station we implemented using a vision system. A coil is removed from the conveyor for checking the correctness of wire winding and overall quality. Defective products, such as incorrectly wound wire, mechanical defects, and even bent pins, are detected and sorted as “waste” on a conveyor designed for this purpose. Coils without detected defects are returned to the main conveyor and proceed to the next stage of the production line.

The past year was filled with joy, kindness, and change. We expanded our team, and for the first time, our company participated in Runmageddon. Thanks to teamwork and mutual support, our participants overcame obstacles that sometimes seemed impossible. We ended the summer with a fantastic team-building event at Folwark Cyziówka. In December, Santa Claus visited our company, bringing gifts for the children of our employees. The kids also had the chance to see how 3D printing works and to tour the production hall to observe the work of the robots.
With passion not only for robotics!
Starting this year, our company supports the local Dębica Hockey Club. Sport teaches fair play, patience, determination, motivates action and collaboration, and shows how to bounce back from defeat. Properly supported passions and interests can shape these skills, which will undoubtedly benefit other areas of life in the future. Through such initiatives, we promote an active lifestyle and strengthen players in achieving their childhood dreams and developing young talents.
